$1,500 is a lot to spend on a blanket, but I think it's a steal for these. They aren't just quilts, they're art that you can snuggle.
Totally unrelated: Hulu's got the entire first season of Revenge posted right now, so the hubs and I checked it out, and it is SO good. I'm just puttering around the house today, and I keep thinking, "Hey, I should get back to that story," and then remembering that it's actually a TV show - it feels like a book, it's so good.
